It’s no secret in recent news, people are trying to figure out what they can do to best protect themselves & their families from illness. Aside from the obvious like washing your hands, sanitizing and avoiding large crowds, there are proactive things you can do internally.


Your body is built to fight sickness on its own. You can introduce natural foods into your body that will assist it in completing these tasks. An example of these foods are the combination of turmeric and ginger.


Turmeric is a plant that is sold in a yellow powder form that is used in asian dishes like curry. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties and is full of antioxidants. Ginger is a root with a strong taste that shares the same benefits as turmeric on top of aiding in nausea and muscle soreness.



A combination of these two when you’re cooking chickpeas with some garlic or making a tea or milk with lemon can help prepare your body to do its job in combination with all the other precautions.
